Job Title: CPN – CAMHS Crisis – Band 6
Location: Hove area
Duration: 3-month ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: TBC
Rate of Pay: £25.50 – £26.50 per hour

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) within a CAMHS Crisis Team and make a meaningful difference supporting children and adolescents in acute mental health distress. Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Rapid mental health assessments for children in crisis
✔ Formulating risk management and safety plans
✔ Delivering brief interventions and stabilisation support
✔ Working closely with families and carers
✔ Collaborating with schools, social care, and other health professionals
✔ Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and duty cover
✔ Accurate documentation and compliance with safeguarding procedures
✔ Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
✔ Child mental health experience is essential
✔ Crisis or urgent response experience highly desirable
✔ Strong assessment and risk management skills
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork
✔ Compassionate and resilient nature
