Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rate of Pay: £30.00 – £32.00 per hour

Join our team as a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) within a Drug & Alcohol Team and play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey. Your core responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and reviews for service users with substance misuse needs
Independently running your own prescribing clinic
Developing and monitoring personalised treatment plans, including substitute prescribing
Working collaboratively with recovery workers and wider MDTs
Ensuring safe prescribing practices aligned with national guidance
Keeping detailed, accurate records in line with clinical and safeguarding requirements
Current and valid NMC registration and NMP qualification
Essential: Experience in substance misuse and drug & alcohol services
Confident in managing and running clinics independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Possibility for some hybrid working
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The role is offered on a 3-month ongoing contract, with high potential for extension based on service demand and performance.
