Band 6 CPN – CPN – Derbyshire – £26ph

Hunter Mental Health are working with a supportive community team in Derbyshire seeking a skilled Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for a flexible, rewarding contract.

• Location: Derbyshire

• Duration: 3-month initial contract (likely extension)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• Start Date: ASAP

• Rate: £26.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a valued member of the community mental health team, you’ll:

• Carry a caseload and provide comprehensive mental health assessments

• Deliver recovery-focused interventions in the community

• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans

• Liaise closely with MDT professionals, families, and external services

• Administer medication and complete risk assessments

• Safeguard vulnerable adults and contribute to CPA meetings

Requirements:

• NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

• Previous CPN/community mental health experience

• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

• Driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours & Contract:

• Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

• Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• 3-month contract with likely extension
