Duration: 3-month ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Rate of Pay:
£25.50 – £26.50 per hour (Days)
£30.50 – £31.50 per hour (Nights/Saturdays)
£35.50 – £36.50 per hour (Sundays/Bank Holidays)

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a fast-paced Psychiatric Liaison Team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in urgent care mental health. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting mental health assessments within emergency departments and general hospital settings
Providing rapid response and short-term crisis support
Developing risk management and discharge plans
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support safe transitions of care
Managing a varied caseload of service users in acute psychological distress
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
Essential: Experience in psychiatric liaison or mental health crisis services
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to manage high-pressure situations with calm and professionalism
Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota
This full-time role requires availability for long-day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), Monday to Sunday. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with strong potential for extension depending on performance and service needs.
