Role: Child Protection Social Worker
Location: Essex
Duration: Ongoing contract
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, remainder from home
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £32–£34 per hour, dependent on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing a caseload of 17–20 children within child protection
Undertaking assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and families
Attending child protection conferences, reviews, and court as required
Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
Keeping thorough, timely, and compliant case records
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration
Must currently be working in a Child Protection role
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Strong working knowledge of child protection legislation and best practices
Working Hours & Contract:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hybrid model – 2 days per week in the office
Long-term, stable contract
