Join our team and provide specialist psychological input to Jubilee Ward and The Limes, offering essential mental health support to older adults. Your core responsibilities include:
✔ Conducting psychological assessments and, where appropriate, providing targeted treatment for patients with mental health issues and dementia
✔ Developing and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
✔ Providing consultation and guidance to ward staff
✔ Supporting the work of the Assistant Psychologist on the ward
✔ Participating in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team discussions
✔ HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist
✔ Experience working with older adults and dementia
✔ Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and behavioural support approaches
✔ Strong MDT collaboration and communication skills
✔ Confidence supporting junior staff and contributing to service development
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, on a 3-month ongoing contract with strong potential for extension based on performance and service need.
