Hunter Mental Health is supporting a busy Adult Community Mental Health Team in the Birmingham area, who are looking for an experienced Band 6 CPN to join them on a locum basis.

• Role: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse – Adult CMHT

• Location: Birmingham area

• Contract: 3-month initial contract (likely to extend)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• Start Date: ASAP

• Hourly Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a caseload of adults with complex and enduring mental health needs

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and care planning

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity of care

• Carrying out home visits and supporting service users in the community

• Participating in regular MDT and risk review meetings

Requirements:

• NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse

• Previous experience in an adult CMHT setting is essential

• Confident in risk assessment, care coordination, and CPA documentation

• Car driver with access to a vehicle preferred

Working Hours & Contract:

• Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• 3-month contract with strong possibility of extension

• Full-time hours (part-time considered)
