Locum Family Therapist – Eating Disorder Unit – £40–£45ph – Part-Time – South West England

Are you a UKCP-registered Family Therapist looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity in a specialist inpatient setting? We are seeking a Systemic Family Therapist to work two days a week face-to-face on a Specialist Eating Disorder Unit, supporting patients and their families through structured therapy and psycho-educational work.

About the Role:

Working within a supportive and multidisciplinary team, you will:

  • Deliver family therapy interventions to inpatients on a Specialist Eating Disorder Unit

  • Support patients and their families through systemic and psycho-educational interventions

  • Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for assessment, therapy delivery, and discharge planning

  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning, offering psychological insight and family-focused care

  • Contribute to the therapeutic programme within the wider service


Requirements:

  • Qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist

  • UKCP registration via the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy

  • Master’s level qualification in Systemic Family Therapy

  • Experience in inpatient or outpatient mental health services

  • Familiarity with treating eating disorders is highly desirable
