What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a CPN and manage an identified community caseload, ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and compliance with best practice. In this role, you will:
• promote a service-user focused approach
• participate in audits and relevant team surveys
• contribute to the development of new policies and procedures
• ensure clients receive culturally competent care
• coordinate day-to-day team activity and workload
• adhere to the legal requirements of the Mental Health Act (1983) and Care Act (2014)
• establish and maintain good relationships with service users, carers, and voluntary sector colleagues
• provide evidence-based practice in line with legislation, policies, governance, and local/national guidelines
• liaise with General Practice and Primary Care teams to support partnership working
• consider local demographics when planning and improving service provision
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• current NMC registration as a qualified nurse
• experience managing community mental health caseloads
• strong knowledge of Mental Health Act and Care Act legislation
• ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency teams
• excellent organisational, communication, and professional skills
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time ongoing contract with strong potential for extension.
