Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are looking for a Band 6 Nurse to join a specialist ADHD service as a Health Facilitator. This is a rewarding role based in Redhill, Surrey, providing physical health checks and holistic support for people with ADHD.

Job Title: Band 6 ADHD Health Facilitator Nurse
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Duration: 3–6 months ongoing
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £25–£27 per hour (DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role you will:

  • Deliver annual physical health checks for people with ADHD in line with NICE guidance

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop individualised risk management plans

  • Support patients with medication management, crisis intervention, and comorbid conditions

  • Liaise with GPs, acute and primary care teams, and other providers

  • Advocate for service users, ensuring dignity, choice, and cultural needs are respected

  • Mentor and supervise students and junior staff


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD, or RGN) with active NMC registration

  • Minimum 2 years’ post-registration clinical experience

  • Experience of working in mental health, ADHD, or neurodevelopmental services desirable

  • Strong clinical assessment and physical health monitoring skills

  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills


Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, 9–5 role. The initial contract is 3–6 months with strong potential for extension based on service needs.
