What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our NHS service as a Social Worker and play a vital role in supporting individuals under the Care Act 2014. In this role, you will:
Complete Care Act assessments, care plans, and reviews
Adjust care packages to ensure proportionate, strengths-based support
Undertake s42 Safeguarding Enquiries
Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Provide duty cover, responding to urgent queries on the day
Contribute to holistic, person-centred support and safeguarding practice
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Social Work professional qualification (Social Work degree, Masters, or DipSW)
Active registration with Social Work England
Valid UK driving licence and regular access to a car
Strong experience in Care Act 2014 duties including assessment, planning, and review
Experience of s42 Safeguarding Enquiries
Ability to balance independent work with MDT collaboration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time role requiring availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing with the strong possibility of extension.
