A Day in the Life

You’ll be working with young people aged 8–18 and 18–25 presenting with eating disorders and complex co-morbidities such as ASC, trauma, emerging EUPD, OCD, depression, and self-harm. You’ll deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions in individual, family, and group settings. You’ll be part of a well-resourced, supportive MDT and psychological therapies team, with opportunities to contribute to service development, research, and teaching.

This is a face-to-face inpatient role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Experience or strong interest in working with eating disorders and complex presentations
• Ideally some exposure to inpatient or forensic settings
• Familiarity with models such as CBT-ED, DBT, PBS, trauma-focused CBT, and neurodiversity-informed approaches
• Empathetic, boundaried, and a strong team player

Working Hours

• Flexible full-time or part-time hours available
• On-site, face-to-face work only
