Band: 6 | £25–£27 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (Wednesday remote)

About the Role:

Hunter Gatherer Mental Health is seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a well-established Adults Eating Disorder Daycare service in Godalming, Surrey. This role will see you working with adults (18+) who have moderate to severe eating disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. The focus of this position is to provide structured, recovery-oriented care, alongside contributing to the continued success and development of the service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and risk management to ensure safe and effective care.

  • Provide structured meal support and assist with group facilitation to promote recovery.

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and physical health monitoring for service users.

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

  • Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and contribute to service development.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months post-qualification experience in a patient-facing mental health role.

  • Experience working with adults with eating disorders is essential.

  • Confidence delivering meal support, providing supervision, and using SystemOne (desirable but not essential).

Additional Requirements:

  • a current and valid NMC registration and pin
  • experience working with working age adults in the community
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • access to a car for community/home visits
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday – Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 to 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
