Hunter Mental Health is currently seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a well-established Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIS) service based in Birmingham.
Role: Band 6 CPN – Early Intervention Service
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £26 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Ongoing – long-term locum position
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Managing a defined caseload of service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
Delivering evidence-based interventions and recovery-focused care.
Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and developing care plans.
Working closely with multi-disciplinary team members to coordinate effective care.
Supporting families and carers as part of a holistic treatment approach.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
Current NMC registration.
Previous experience working within an Early Intervention, Community Mental Health, or similar service.
Ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
Car driver with access to a vehicle is desirable.
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Ongoing contract with potential for extension.
Full-time hours preferred, part-time considered.
