Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are seeking an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6) to join a well-established NHS Community Mental Health Team based in Woking.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care to adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Details:
Role: Band 6 CPN – Community Mental Health
Location: Woking, Surrey
Pay: £26 – £27 per hour (umbrella rate)
Contract: Ongoing locum | Full-time | Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Main Duties:
Caseload management of service users in the community
Conduct mental state assessments, risk assessments, and care planning
Deliver evidence-based interventions and medication administration
Liaise effectively with MDT members, GPs, carers and external agencies
Support crisis management and early intervention plans
Requirements:
NMC registration (RMN)
Minimum 12 months’ post-qualification experience in community mental health
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday – Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 to 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
