A Day in the Life of a Clinical Psychologist:

Join a dedicated neurorehabilitation team at Hollanden Park Hospital, providing clinical psychology input for patients with neurological conditions. Working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and neurological music therapists, you will:

  • Lead and deliver neuropsychological assessments and interventions.

  • Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans.

  • Provide emotional support, behavioural interventions, and family consultation.

  • Supervise and support assistant psychologists within the service.

  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care.

  • Promote psychological understanding across the service through training and consultation.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.

  • Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Psychology.

  • Experience providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for patients with neurological conditions.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior staff.

  • Knowledge of legislation and policy relevant to neuropsychological rehabilitation (e.g. Mental Capacity Act, NICE Guidelines, Safeguarding).

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing professional development, and reflective clinical work.


Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
