Location: Weston-super-Mare
Pay: £28–£32 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: Full time | 2–3 days on-site | Flexible working supported
Join an integrated NHS and local-authority mental-health team providing holistic, person-centred support to adults across Weston-super-Mare.
You’ll carry out Care Act assessments, review existing packages of care, and complete Section 117 assessments and reviews in partnership with clinicians and community professionals.
AMHP qualification is desirable but not essential — the service welcomes skilled practitioners who can bring sound mental-health expertise, professional curiosity, and a collaborative approach.
What you’ll bring
Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
Experience within community or secondary mental-health services
Knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act 1983
Confident using case-management systems (LAS or equivalent)
Ability to work autonomously within an MDT environment
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday – Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 to 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
