Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are working with a leading private healthcare provider specialising in medical cannabis assessments and ongoing treatment management. We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join their remote multidisciplinary team.
Role Overview:
Conduct patient assessments for suitability of medical cannabis treatment in line with UK legal frameworks and NICE guidance.
Review patient histories, assess eligibility, and collaborate with ANPs and GPs within a structured care pathway.
Provide expert clinical oversight, diagnostic formulation, and treatment recommendations.
Participate in remote MDT meetings and receive full service training and governance induction.
Requirements:
Full GMC registration with licence to practise
Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register (Psychiatry)
Experience in chronic pain, neurology, or mental health desirable
Excellent written communication and remote consultation skills
Comfortable practising within private or independent settings
This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility, robust governance support, and comprehensive training. Competitive hourly rates of £120–£150 are available depending on experience.
