HMP Dovegate in Uttoxeter are seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Staff Nurse to join their team on a 3-month placement, starting as soon as possible.
Band 6 Mental Health Staff Nurse (Prison Service) – RMN
Location: HMP Dovegate, Uttoxeter
Contract: 12 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00–16:00
Rate: £26 per hour

Providing specialist mental health nursing care to service users within HMP Dovegate.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver effective mental health interventions.
Managing risk, responding to crises, and maintaining clinical documentation to the highest standard.
Supporting continuity of care and coordinating with internal and external services.
Promoting safety, wellbeing, and recovery within a secure environment.
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with Band 6 experience.
MUST have active Prison Clearance.
Essential: Experience working within the prison service within the last 12 months.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
Ability to work independently within a secure setting.
Full-time, Monday to Friday
08:00–16:00
