Overview

Hunter Mental Health are supporting a GP surgery seeking an RMN who is also a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber to provide short mental health reviews and follow-up appointments. This role is suited to a clinician confident working independently within primary care and able to manage brief interventions and medication reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct short mental health reviews and follow-up appointments

  • Provide safe prescribing, medication reviews and titration where required

  • Work autonomously within a GP surgery and collaborate with the MDT

  • Manage brief interventions, risk assessments and safety planning

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and safeguarding standards

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

  • V300 Independent/Supplementary Prescriber (essential)

  • Must have own NHS-approved laptop with EMIS installed

  • Experience in primary care, remote consulting or GP mental health pathways desirable
