Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join an established Adults Community Mental Health Team in Luton. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong community experience looking to support an adult caseload within a busy, supportive MDT.
Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Location: Luton
Contract: 3 months (with scope to extend)
Hours: Monday–Friday, full-time
You will manage a defined caseload of adults with a wide range of mental health needs, providing assessments, care planning, risk management, and ongoing therapeutic support. The team works collaboratively to deliver safe, effective, recovery-focused community care.
Complete thorough assessments for adults referred to the service
Manage and prioritise a community caseload
Formulate and deliver structured care plans tailored to individual needs
Undertake robust risk assessments and implement management plans
Work closely with MDT colleagues, families, and external agencies
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with Trust policy
Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)
Previous experience in an Adults CMHT or community mental health setting
Strong assessment, risk management, and caseload management skills
Ability to work both autonomously and within an MDT
Enhanced DBS and compliance documents (HG-MH can assist where required)
