We are recruiting experienced Clinical Psychologists to deliver ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments remotely. This flexible locum opportunity is ideal for clinicians confident in completing full assessments and signing off diagnostic reports in line with NHS and local authority standards.
Position: Remote Locum Clinical Psychologist – ADHD & Autism
Rate: £65–£85 per hour (depending on experience)
Commitment: Minimum 12 hours per week
Contract Type: Locum
Key Requirement: Ability to sign off diagnostic reports
Complete full ADHD and/or Autism diagnostic assessments remotely
Conduct clinical interviews, gather developmental histories, and review multi-informant evidence
Produce high-quality diagnostic reports aligned with NICE guidelines
Sign off diagnostic reports for confirmed diagnoses
Work collaboratively within multi-agency frameworks including schools, CAMHS, and social care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Clinical Psychologist)
Registration with an appropriate professional body (HCPC or GMC)
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Safeguarding training within the last 12 months
Experience working within multi-agency frameworks
Professional indemnity insurance in place
Two recent clinical references (managerial/supervisory preferred)
ADI-R trained and certified
Ideally ADOS-2 trained, or able to work alongside an ADOS-trained colleague
Experience delivering full NICE-aligned, multi-informant ASD assessments
Competent in producing diagnostic reports meeting NHS and local authority standards
DIVA-5 trained
Experience completing full ADHD assessments including developmental history, rating scales, school information, and risk screening
Skilled in producing clear, evidence-based diagnostic formulations
