Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £27 per hour (umbrella)

Join our Early Intervention Service as a Band 6 Care Coordinator or CPN and play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Your key responsibilities will include:
✔ Managing a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs.
✔ Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering recovery-focused interventions.
✔ Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers.
✔ Providing psychoeducation and relapse prevention strategies.
✔ Administering medication and monitoring mental health stability.
✔ Safeguarding and risk management to ensure patient safety.
✔ Supporting transitions between services and signposting to relevant support networks.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
✔ A current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
✔ Experience working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis or Community Mental Health setting.
✔ Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
✔ A valid full UK driver’s license (preferred but not essential).
This is a Monday to Friday role from 9 AM – 5 PM, offering flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. The contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
