Are you a skilled Theatre Nurse (Band 6) looking for an exciting locum opportunity in Devon? We are seeking experienced professionals to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This is your chance to make a real impact while enjoying great pay and flexibility!

Your Key Responsibilities

✔️ Provide expert assistance in the operating theatre across various specialities.
✔️ Ensure a sterile environment, following infection control protocols.
✔️ Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
✔️ Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
✔️ Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and materials with precision.
✔️ Offer support and reassurance to patients through the perioperative process.
✔️ Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.

What You Need to Succeed

Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with a valid PIN.
Proven Theatre Nursing experience in a hospital setting (essential).
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and infection control.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
Theatre Nursing qualification (desirable but not essential).
