Are you a skilled Chemo Nurse (Band 6) looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in Devon? We are seeking experienced professionals to provide specialist cancer care to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. ✔️ Administer chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively.
✔️ Monitor patient responses to treatment and manage side effects.
✔️ Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
✔️ Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team.
✔️ Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.
✔️ Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
✔️ Stay updated on new chemotherapy drugs and best practices.
Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with a valid PIN.
Proven Chemotherapy Nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting (essential).
Chemotherapy qualification (SACT Passport / UKONS Certificate preferred).
Strong knowledge of oncology treatments, side effect management, and patient care.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and supportive in high-pressure situations.
