Band 4 Nursing Associate Opportunity – South West London Area – £20.00PH to £21.00PH

Hunter Mental Health are supporting a South West London Mental Health NHS Trust with a Band 4 Nursing Associate role.

We are looking for a dedicated Nursing Associate to join a supportive team delivering personalised, compassionate care to patients in a mental health setting.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care under the direction of registered nurses

  • Supporting patients in improving mental, physical and behavioural wellbeing

  • Encouraging recovery-based approaches, promoting independence and healthy lifestyles

  • Participating in psychosocial activities and contributing to care planning

  • Monitoring health conditions, escalating concerns and maintaining patient safety

  • Communicating effectively with patients, families and the wider MDT

  • Upholding Trust values and safeguarding protocols


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register

  • Foundation Degree in Nursing Associate Studies

  • Previous experience in mental health or relevant clinical care settings preferred

  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and a values-led approach to patient care

  • Willingness to support student nurses and contribute to reflective practice and service improvement


Working Hours & Contract Duration

  • Monday to Friday, Full-time hours (37.5 hours per week)

  • Start date: ASAP – 4 weeks notice considered

  • Contract duration: 3-6 months ongoing

  • Rate: £20.00PH to £21.00PH

  • Location: South West London area
