Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are looking for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join an Early Help service near Plymouth. This is a full-time locum role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, fully office-based.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Complete CAMHS Early Help assessments for children and young people
Develop and implement care and support plans
Provide advice, guidance, and signposting to families and carers
Record accurate documentation on NHS systems
Work with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
Requirements & Qualifications:
NMC, HCPC or Social Work England registration (RMN, Social Worker, OT or equivalent)
CAMHS experience desirable, though transferable skills and willingness to learn will be considered
Strong risk assessment and communication skills
Car driver preferred (role is office-based only)
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9–5. The contract is 3–6 months initially, with the possibility of extension based on performance and service need.
