Job Title: Band 6 Children’s Community Nurse
Location: Shepherd’s Bush, London
Contract Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 5 shifts per week (social hours)

Pay Rate: £24.00 – £27.00 per hour

Role Overview:
As a Children’s Community Nurse, you will be part of a skilled team delivering vital care to children in their homes and local settings. Your key responsibilities include:
Reducing hospital admissions and facilitating early discharges
Providing specialised clinical care in the community, including:
Blood tests
Chemotherapy administration
Nasogastric tube placement
IV antibiotics
Oxygen monitoring
Educating and supporting families, caregivers, and school staff
Coordinating equipment provision and liaising with multidisciplinary professionals
What We’re Looking For:
NMC Registration (Child Branch/RSCN/RN Child)
Community paediatrics or hospital-based paediatric nursing experience
Confidence delivering care in home and school environments
Strong communication and coordination skills
Commitment to family-centred, community-based care
