We’re supporting a service in the West Midlands area looking for an experienced Band 6 CPN to join their Adult Community Mental Health Team. This is a full-time locum contract with an immediate start available.

• Role: Band 6 CPN – Adult Community Mental Health Team

• Location: West Midlands area (exact location on request)

• Duration: 3-month contract (extension likely)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• Start: ASAP

• Rate: £26.00 per hour (umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be working as part of a multidisciplinary CMHT supporting adults with a range of moderate to severe mental health needs. Your duties will include:

• Managing a defined caseload of service users

• Conducting risk assessments and mental health reviews

• Developing and implementing care plans

• Liaising with MDTs, families, and other services

• Participating in CPA reviews and safeguarding discussions

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)

• Community experience in a Band 6 role

• Car driver with access to own vehicle preferred

• Confident working autonomously and managing risk

Working Hours & Contract:

• Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• Full-time hours (37.5 per week)

• Initial 3-month contract with high likelihood of extension
