Hunter Mental Health is currently working with a Community Mental Health Team in Herefordshire to support them in finding an experienced Band 6 CPN. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive and well-run service focused on recovery and person-centred care.

Role: Band 6 CPN – Community Mental Health
Location: Herefordshire
Duration: 3-month initial contract (likely to extend)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £26–£27 per hour (depending on experience and location)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a defined caseload of adults with complex mental health needs

• Undertaking initial assessments, risk assessments, and care planning

• Delivering community-based interventions in line with service user recovery goals

• Working collaboratively within the MDT and attending relevant reviews and meetings

• Contributing to safeguarding procedures and supporting crisis planning when needed

Requirements:

• NMC-registered RMN (Mental Health Nurse)

• Proven experience as a CPN or in a similar Band 6 community role

• Knowledge of current mental health legislation and best practices

• Driver with access to a vehicle is preferable

Working Hours & Contract Length:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with an initial 3-month contract and a strong likelihood of extension.
