Hunter Mental Health is currently supporting a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Worcestershire with the recruitment of a Band 6 CPN. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a mental health nurse looking to make a difference in a supportive and well-established service.

Role: Band 6 CPN – Community Mental Health
Location: Worcestershire
Duration: 3-month initial contract (likely to extend)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £26–£27 per hour (depending on experience and location)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and risk management plans

• Delivering care planning, reviews, and interventions in the community

• Liaising with MDT members, families, and other agencies to support recovery-focused care

• Supporting crisis management and safeguarding where required

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC Pin)

• Previous CPN or community mental health experience (Band 6 level)

• Experience working in CMHTs or similar services

• Driver with access to a vehicle is preferred

Working Hours & Contract Length:
This is a full-time locum role working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, for an initial 3-month period, with a high likelihood of extension.
