Hunter Mental Health is currently supporting a fantastic opportunity in Sittingbourne for a CPN to join an Older Adults Community Mental Health Team.

Role: Band 6 CPN – Older Adults
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Type: Locum
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (likely to extend)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Rate: £27.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a defined caseload of older adults with complex mental health needs

• Undertaking initial assessments, risk assessments, care planning, and interventions

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care

• Liaising with families, carers, and other agencies to support patient recovery and wellbeing

• Supporting safe discharge planning and continuity of care

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC Registered)

• Community experience, ideally in older adults mental health

• Ability to manage risk and make clinical decisions independently

• MAPA or PMVA training desirable but not essential

• Car driver essential for community visits

Contract Details:

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

• 3-month initial contract with opportunity for extension

• Weekly payments and dedicated support throughout your placement
