Contract: 3 months initial cover | £26 per hour | Car driver desirable but not essential
Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are supporting an NHS Eating Disorders Service in Cheltenham seeking an experienced Band 6 Clinician to provide high-quality assessment, care coordination and evidence-based treatment for adults, children, and families affected by eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake holistic assessments and develop tailored care plans for service users and families.
Deliver individual and family-based interventions such as CBT-E, FBT, and IPT, in line with NICE guidance.
Facilitate group sessions and provide meal support within a structured day programme.
Monitor physical and psychiatric risk, completing all required documentation accurately.
Participate in MDT meetings, supervision, and service development initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to students and junior colleagues as required.
Requirements:
Registered professional qualification (RMN, OT, Social Worker or Psychologist).
Recent experience in eating disorder services – community or day-care settings.
Strong understanding of eating disorder presentations, risk management, and therapeutic approaches.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with SystmOne desirable.
