Join one of the region’s most dynamic NHS partnerships as a Band 6 Senior Executive Assistant, supporting the Joint Chief Executive across two leading trusts in Bristol. This is a pivotal opportunity for a highly organised, adaptable professional to make an impact at executive level.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide full EA support to the Joint Chief Executive, including diary and inbox management, handling sensitive communications, and managing formal visits.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the Council of Governors, Non-Executive and Executive Directors.

  • Support key strategic and operational activities across both organisations through effective planning, organisation, and communication.

  • Supervise administrative functions and ensure the Joint CEO’s office runs smoothly, managing team performance and supporting cross-trust initiatives.

  • Coordinate and manage high-level projects, collate data and actions from forums and briefings, and ensure timely follow-up.

  • Liaise with comms, governance, and finance teams on behalf of the Joint CEO.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Substantial senior-level EA/PA experience, ideally supporting an Executive Director in the NHS.

  • Strong diary management, minute-taking, and organisational skills.

  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and work independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous NHS experience and understanding of the local BNSSG healthcare landscape desirable.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with advanced IT and Microsoft Office proficiency.


Working Hours & Contract Duration:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (full-time, 37.5 hours/week)

  • Rate: £25.00ph 
  • Start Date: ASAP – 4 weeks

  • Contract Length: 3–6 months ongoing
