Band 6 RMN – Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team – Birmingham

Are you a confident and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse with crisis care experience? We’re working with a fast-paced Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) in Birmingham who need an experienced Band 6 RMN to support urgent mental health interventions in the community.

What’s on offer?

  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: 3 months ongoing, with potential to extend
  • Schedule: Shift-based – including evenings and weekends
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of Pay: £26.50 per hour
  • Requirements: NMC-registered RMN, experience in crisis or acute mental health settings, car driver essential

What will your day look like?

You’ll respond to urgent referrals, conduct risk assessments, and deliver short-term interventions to stabilise mental health crises. You’ll work closely with service users, families, and the wider MDT to prevent hospital admissions and support safe discharge planning. You’ll also contribute to rota cover, handovers, and liaison with inpatient and community teams.
