Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are working in partnership with a CAMHS Eating Disorders Service in Hertfordshire (countywide, with base negotiable) to recruit a Band 6 RMN, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist for a full-time locum contract.

Key Details:

  • Role: Band 6 RMN / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist
  • Location: Hertfordshire – countywide (base can be negotiated)
  • Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00)
  • Start Date: ASAP (until the permanent position is filled)
  • Pay: Aligned with the NHS England Band 6 rate card

Requirements:

  • Essential: Previous experience working within an Eating Disorders service
  • Experience working in an Eating Disorder Team or Community Mental Health Team treating young people or adults with eating disorders
  • Strong mental health experience, enabling candidates to carry out assessments and interventions
  • Competency in risk management regarding both physical and mental health
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong assessment skills to determine treatment pathways for young people
  • Experience supporting young people and families within an eating disorder service
