Band 7 Social Worker / RMN – Dual Diagnosis Team
Location: Colchester & Clacton, Essex
Rate: £31.00 per hour
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Contract Duration: 3-6 months ongoing
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Social Worker or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Dual Diagnosis Team covering Herrick House in Colchester and Reunion House in Clacton. The successful candidate will work across both locations, providing specialist input to individuals with complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and risk management plans.
Developing person-centred care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
Providing therapeutic interventions and crisis support.
Coordinating care pathways to ensure holistic patient support.
Engaging with external agencies to provide integrated care solutions.
Qualified Social Worker with HCPC/SWE registration or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with NMC registration.
Experience working within a mental health or dual diagnosis setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
Ability to work across two locations (car driver required).
Mileage paid at 56p per mile between main base and the other site.
Start Date: ASAP – 4 weeks
Contract Length: 3-6 months ongoing
Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
