Hunter Gatherer Mental Health have an excellent new role available within the South Adults Social Care Team in High Wycombe.
Location: Saffron House, Easton Street, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP11 1NH
Service: South Adults Social Care Team
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Initial 3-month placement (TBC)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
Hours: 37.5 per week
Rate: £31 per hour

Carrying out work under the Care Act 2014, including undertaking S42 safeguarding enquiries and chairing safeguarding meetings.
Completing S9 and S10 assessments and reviewing existing care packages.
Working with individuals with complex mental health needs in community and hospital settings.
Applying the Mental Capacity Act 2005, including Court of Protection processes and applications.
Applying a strengths-based model within assessment and intervention.
Working within the Mental Health Act, including s117 aftercare responsibilities.
Producing high-quality, detailed, and accurate reports.
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment to meet service needs.
Social Work professional qualification (Social Work Degree, Masters, or DipSW) with 3+ years’ experience.
Registration with Social Work England.
Significant experience in Care Act work, safeguarding, and mental health.
Strong understanding of MCA 2005 and Court of Protection.
Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
Excellent report-writing skills.
Current driver’s licence and access to a car.
Ability to confidently demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of the service.
Desirable:
Experience mentoring or supervising social care staff.
Knowledge of LAS/Liquid Logic database.
