Rate: £300–£320 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months initially, with likely extension
Hours: Full-time – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Hunter Mental Health are supporting a South East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) in their search for an experienced Band 8a Personalised Commissioning Manager to join their Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health commissioning team.
You’ll play a key role in delivering personalised care and commissioning programmes for adults and young people with complex needs, aligning services with NHS Long Term Plan priorities and supporting improved outcomes for local residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commissioning professional or senior clinician to lead on strategic projects and drive collaborative, person-centred change within the system.
Lead commissioning and transformation workstreams across Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health pathways.
Manage and coordinate Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews (C(E)TRs) and the Dynamic Support Register (DSR).
Oversee complex case management and bespoke packages of care.
Work in partnership with local authorities, NHS providers, and the voluntary sector to improve service quality and accessibility.
Monitor performance against KPIs, quality standards, and financial targets.
Contribute to service redesign and personalised commissioning initiatives in line with ICB strategy.
Professional background as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
Experience in commissioning or operational management within health or social care.
Strong understanding of Learning Disability, Autism, and Mental Health frameworks.
Confident managing multidisciplinary relationships and stakeholder partnerships.
Skilled in governance, data interpretation, and service performance reporting.
Excellent communicator, able to influence and engage across complex systems.
