A Day in the Life of a CBT Therapist:
As a CBT Therapist within a CAMHS setting, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and adolescents with mental health challenges. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider MDT to develop, implement, and review personalised care plans, helping young people achieve positive therapeutic outcomes.

Your core responsibilities include:
• Delivering CBT-based interventions to children and young people.
• Conducting assessments, formulations, and treatment plans in collaboration with the MDT.
• Providing evidence-based psychological therapy to promote emotional and mental wellbeing.
• Liaising with families and carers to ensure continuity of care.
• Supporting qualified staff with care planning and treatment delivery.


Requirements & Qualifications:
• Accredited with the BABCP (or eligible for accreditation).
• Experience delivering CBT interventions within a CAMHS or child mental health setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage a small, focused caseload effectively.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.


Working Hours & Contract Details:
This is a part-time permanent position, working 2 days per week (15 hours total). Flexibility can be offered around working days and patterns.
