Hourly Rate: £38.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and supervise specialist psychological assessments and treatments for children aged 5-18, helping them navigate a range of mental health challenges.
  • Lead the development and delivery of psychological interventions tailored to individual needs, working across both primary and secondary school settings.
  • Take a proactive approach in clinical risk management and safeguarding, ensuring the best interests of the young people in your care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and develop their professional skills through focused mentoring.
  • Work closely with school staff to implement a Whole School Approach to Mental Health, ensuring mental health is integrated into the fabric of school culture.
  • Offer expert consultation and training to school staff to enhance their ability to support the mental well-being of students.

What You’ll Need

  • A HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent) with significant experience in psychological assessment and treatment for children and adolescents.
  • Proven experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary settings, ideally with a background in CAMHS or similar services.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to supervise and support the professional development of others.
  • A passion for evidence-based practice and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

Working Hours & Contract Details

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • A flexible 3-6 month ongoing contract with an immediate start (ASAP – 4 weeks).
