Are you a qualified Band 5 Community Nurse looking for a rewarding locum role with high pay and flexible hours? We have an exciting opportunity in Droitwich, offering excellent pay rates, a focus on patient care in a community setting, and a variety of shifts.

Job Title: Community Nurse (Band 5)
Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire
Duration: 3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 4-5 shifts per week (0730 – 1830)
Pay Rate: £20.00 – £22.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Responsibilities:

As a Community Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients in a community setting. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting patient assessments
• Administering injections, wound care, and end-of-life care (including syringe drivers)
• Performing leg ulcer assessments using Doppler machines
• Carrying out bladder and bowel assessments
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining accurate patient records

Key Skills Required:

• IM/IV injections and syringe driver medication administration
• Wound care and leg ulcer management
• Central line care and catheterization
• Experience with lone working and triage

Qualifications:

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A valid NMC registration and pin
• Previous community nursing experience
• Experience in injections, wound care, end-of-life care, leg ulcer assessments, and bladder/bowel assessments
• A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to high-quality patient care

Working Hours:

• 4-5 shifts per week, 0730-1830, working across a 7-day service in Droitwich.
