Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6) – Somerset

• Duration: Up to 3 months
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 RMN and play a key role in improving the lives of adults with mental health difficulties. In this role, you will:

✔ Hold a caseload of patients independently
✔ Manage risk and deliver brief interventions
✔ Monitor mental state and provide assessments
✔ Participate in duty work, assessments, and clinics (if an RMN)
✔ Work flexibly, with remote options available for the right candidate

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

✅ Current and valid NMC registration (or relevant social worker qualification)
✅ Experience working in adult community mental health services
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Motivated, flexible, and adaptable approach

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00. The contract is for up to 3 months, with a possibility of extension.
