What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse within a CAMHS service and play a key role in supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs. In this role, you will:
• perform comprehensive assessments of young people
• create and deliver tailored care plans in collaboration with families and carers
• provide evidence-based interventions such as CBT and crisis support
• work closely with multidisciplinary teams including schools and social services
• maintain up-to-date clinical records and risk assessments
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• a current and valid NMC registration and pin
• experience working with children and adolescents in a CAMHS or mental health setting
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• a commitment to delivering safe, child-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability from Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
