We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a dedicated team in Canterbury. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the community, providing high-quality care to those in need.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a CPN, you will work with a diverse caseload, providing tailored assessments and treatment for individuals with mental health needs. You will collaborate closely with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for service users. Your duties will include:

  • Developing and delivering person-centred care plans.

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews.

  • Providing ongoing support to individuals in the community.

  • Offering guidance and education to service users and their families.

  • Ensuring risk assessments and management plans are regularly updated.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC registration.

  • Previous experience working as a CPN in a community setting.

  • Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment options.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • A commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time role with hours from Monday to Friday. The position is an ongoing contract with the potential for extension depending on service needs.
