Job Title: Band 6 CPN – Community Mental Health
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Duration: Initial 3 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £27.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse within a dynamic Community Mental Health Team in Maidstone. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of adults with complex mental health needs

  • Conducting mental health assessments, risk assessments, and care plans

  • Delivering recovery-focused, evidence-based interventions

  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and care coordination

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reports using NHS systems


Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid NMC registration (Mental Health)

  • Proven experience in a community mental health setting

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Confidence in lone working and clinical decision-making

  • A car and full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential


Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, for an initial 3-month contract, with high potential for extension based on service requirements.
