Position: Band 6 CPN – Maidstone MHT+
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Contract Duration: Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate: £27 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Acting as a Practice Assessor, providing guidance and support to others.

  • Adhering to NMC registration and revalidation requirements.

  • Ensuring compliance with KMPT’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Supporting and behaving in a manner that upholds KMPT Trust values.

  • Assessing, acting on, and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

  • Promoting self-care and optimising health and wellbeing by helping service users make choices about their needs and involving their carers where appropriate.

  • Administering medications and monitoring their effects where required.

  • Carrying out specific duties related to community care depot and clozapine clinics.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • You must be a registered CPN with NMC registration.

  • Demonstrable experience in a mental health setting, particularly within Older Adult Pathways.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Ability to reliably commute to Albion Place, Maidstone – NO HOME WORKING.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding protocols and best practices.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

  • Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week.

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

  • Ongoing contract with the potential for extension.
