Exciting Opportunity: Band 6 CAMHS Liaison CPN – South East London
We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: CAMHS Liaison Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6)
Location: South East London
Duration: 3 months (with likely extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £27 per hour (umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a supportive CAMHS Liaison team, providing crucial mental health assessments and crisis intervention to young people presenting in acute settings.

✔ Supporting crisis assessments and discharge planning
✔ Liaising with multi-agency teams and families
✔ Managing urgent mental health presentations
✔ Developing short-term care and safety plans
✔ Facilitating referrals and signposting to ongoing services
✔ Working collaboratively within a fast-paced liaison environment

Requirements & Qualifications:
✔ NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
✔ Experience in CAMHS, crisis, or liaison services
✔ Strong clinical risk assessment and crisis intervention skills
✔ Ability to work in high-pressure environments with young people and families
✔ Excellent communication and documentation skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM. Initial contract for 3 months with strong potential for extension.
