A Day in the Life of a DBT Lead Therapist:

Join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, addictions, and eating disorders.

As Lead DBT Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver specialist DBT interventions in both group and individual formats
  • Lead the development and fidelity of the DBT programme across treatment pathways
  • Guide and supervise colleagues to ensure adherence to DBT principles
  • Track client progress using outcome measures and liaise with primary therapists
  • Contribute to service improvement and innovation
  • Support patients in building confidence and achieving long-term recovery

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • PGDip in DBT (British Isles DBT training preferred)
  • Minimum of intensive DBT training (British Isles DBT)
  • EMDR trained (essential)
  • Background in CBT or Integrative Therapy
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in delivering DBT in clinical settings
  • Ability to manage complex cases and support service development
