Job Title: Forensic Social Worker (Band 6)
Location: Central London
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £26-30 per hour (umbrella)

Join our team as a Forensic Social Worker and make a real difference in the lives of individuals within forensic mental health settings. In this role, you will:
Conduct risk assessments and develop care pathway planning to support recovery and rehabilitation.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Provide a social care perspective to patient care planning while promoting the principles of the Recovery Model.
Offer guidance and support to families and carers, ensuring safeguarding procedures for adults and children are followed.
Lead on safeguarding concerns, working closely with the Team Manager and other key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional regulatory standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid registration with Social Work England (SWE).
Proven experience working as a Social Worker, preferably within forensic or mental health settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
A valid full UK driver’s license (essential).
This role requires availability Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, for an initial 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
